The Crown Princess and The Prince came on an official visit to Kronobergs Län, that is the area within 100 km from Växjö. They visited different places as businesses, schools etc. and had a special wish to meet up with us. Daniel and Fanny met up with the couple and we had a chat with them about throwing and showed them how to do it. It ended up that way that both tried to throw shot and discus but we keep it to ourselves how it went. It was a nice 30 minute thing that was fun to do and a big honor to us how interested they were in knowing what we do and how we train.

The King of Sweden, Carl XVI Gustav, invited all Swedish Olympians to the castle for a celebration in the fall of 2021 after the Olympic Games in Tokyo. It was a nice reunion of athletes that had got to know each other at the OG during Covid restrictions. It was a nice ceremony where all athletes were called up on stage for recognition in front of the Royal Family.
